Visitors From the North!

This holiday season we have had great visits with our family! It is difficult to travel with 2 little ones, so we are so thankful that our family comes and sees us. We just wish they could come more often!

We started the holiday with a visit from Grammy. She came right before Thanksgiving, and we went to the zoo and to Opryland to see all the lights and the renovations from the flood. Lots of people commented on her "poof" on her headband. She is so stinkin' cute! Love this classic photo of her hitting her brother. I know we have many more of those moments to come!
Just a few days later, Grandmother came for Thanksgiving. As you can see, it was pretty warm out that day! Probably not warm enough for them to be without pants, but they were having fun! We had a wonderful turkey dinner and even took the kids Black Friday shopping. They did fantastic! We also celebrated Christmas, and Owen loves his Mobigo and Liv enjoys playing with her Little People House.
This is the face Owen is starting to make when you say, "Smile". Love the snotty nose too.
Then, just last week, Aunt Sarah came to visit. We celebrated Christmas with her, and she spoiled the kids with all the toys she brought for them. Owen's favorite was the horse trailer and Liv likes her pillow pet. Sarah's stay extended another day when her flight was cancelled due to bad weather in Chicago. After a few stressful phone calls, she found a flight and we enjoyed an extra day with her. We also took the kids to see Santa, which we had never done before. Both kids weren't too crazy about him, but Santa bribed Owen with a piece of candy, and we got a decent picture of them. Here we are all ready for church in our Christmas outfits!
We are celebrating Christmas with just the four of us, and really looking forward to it. Our next visit is from Grammy and Grandpa who will be here to celebrate Liv's 1st Birthday next week!
