Our Christmas

These pics are out of order, but still, they're pretty cute!

This is the tool bench Owen got for Christmas. He LOVES it! He has been "fixing" things non-stop for the past 3 days. Even Olivia likes it! What's even better is that I bought it at a garage sale for $3!! We definitely got our money's worth.:)
This is Owen's favorite book, "My First Book of Things That Go". We borrowed it from the library for about 6 weeks, so I was excited to give it to him, because I knew he would love it! Sure enough, we had to read it right away. Olivia loves sitting in this rocking chair. She thinks she's so big when she does!
One of our traditions is having cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning. I put birthday candles in them, and we sing Happy Birthday, Jesus. We never eat in the living room, but apparently, Owen knew it was a special day. He took his plate and went and sat down right by the presents.
Christmas Eve we unwrapped our new Christmas Eve pj's and tried to watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Owen was still for about 2 minutes, but he LOVED having all the blankets and pillows out on the floor. Later, Justin read the Christmas story before bed.

We had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve day at a neighbor's open house. He is an electrician, and showed Owen a simple circuit. It kept him occupied for a few minutes, instead of running all over the house. On Christmas, we opened presents, I made a nice dinner, and we just relaxed and watched the kids play. We missed our families, but we really enjoyed being home for 2 days and just being together. Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas this year!

I enjoyed reading your Christmas story and looking at the pictures. I also liked your letter to Olivia.
