Are Your Christmas Cards In the Mail Yet?

Hello friends,

Like most moms, I love photographs of my kids. We take tons of pictures of Owen and Olivia. Ok, maybe not a ton, but definitely a lot. I have been using Shutterfly's services for many different products. I have made photo books and calendars. Check out some of them here. My mom loves her calendar. I have made one for her the last 2 years, and displayed pictures of Owen from the previous year in each month. This year, Olivia gets to be in the calendar as well!
I have also made some cards for different holidays to send to grandparents. Photos would make great thank you cards as well!

This year, Shutterfly is offering 50 free Christmas cards to bloggers, and I love a good deal, so I am very excited to do this. Last year, I didn't send out Christmas cards because Olivia was coming soon, and I decided to just wait and send out a birth announcement after she was born. Many of our family and friends have not seen the kids in a while, so I'm hoping to get some good pictures of them soon in their Christmas outfits.

Here are some of my favorites.

Isn't the black and white so elegant?

I like this one, because the picture is the majority of the card. I will use this one, if I choose a black and white picture. It's so pretty!

I like the traditional red and green of this one, and that it has 3 spots for pictures. One I would use for a picture of the kids together, and then individually as well.

There are so many cute choices! I am a horrible decision maker, so I know this is going to be difficult for me!

I LOVE receiving Christmas cards and letters from people. I know in the age we live in, it's so easy to share your lives on Facebook and twitter, but I enjoy getting actual mail with a Christmas letter or picture in it. I hang them on my door, and when Christmas is over, I put the pictures in a picture album. It's fun to see how families change year after year.

Even if you don't send pictures, I encourage you to send a Christmas card to those you love. It is always fun to open up the mailbox and see something there besides a bill!

Merry Christmas!!
