I knew this day would come....Owen figured out how to climb the fence. Since this picture, he has actually gone higher. He just can't figure out how to get down!
Olivia is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything. She is doing things so much earlier than Owen did. I think she watches him and tries to keep up with him! She has also decided that she will NOT eat baby food. It started out with a refusal to eat any sort of vegetable, and has now spread to fruit. She loves any food from the table, and is doing well eating them. She is an absolute mess when she is done! I usually take all of her clothes off so that I don't have to change her clothes 3 times a day. She also is back to using a bottle to drink water. She has been using a cup, but lately has been spitting her water out; soaking herself. So, back to the bottle we go. Remember, this was the girl who would not drink out of a bottle when she was a newborn.
This warms my heart! Owen has been loving books lately. We are getting past the board book stage, and he actually can sit and listen to a longer story with a plot. I love our bedtime reading! We are also back at story time at our library. O does pretty well, although we have to leave a little early b/c he just can't contain his need to move! This book of "Things that Go" is one of his favorites right now. He even takes it to bed with him. ( I just noticed it's upside down! What a talented boy...I assure you, he can tell you the names of the cars even when they're upside down!)
Driving the car is always a favorite for both kiddos. Olivia is big enough to take a ride around the yard and sometimes Owen even helps push!
