We spent the 4th with the Maxwells and Carringers. Between the three couples, their are 8 children, so we tried to get a picture of all of them in their cute patriotic outfits. This is probably the best one I got, and we are missing the oldest Maxwell, Nathaniel and you can't see Isaiah Maxwell because Malachi is standing up. Oh well, we tried!
Olivia's first 4th of July!
After eating dinner, we headed over to Mt. Juliet for some fireworks. Yes, this is Owen' s "leash". It was his first time wearing it, and it saved our lives, and probably his! I see us using this "monkey" a lot in the next few months. Owen was not a huge fan of the fireworks. He didn't cry, but he sat very still in Daddy's lap. On the other hand, he loved the cupcakes we brought!
Olivia didn't cry at all during the fireworks. She was very happy the entire time we were there, even though she was very tired.
We enjoyed having Justin home yesterday for a three day weekend; we just relaxed together and everyone took naps in the afternoon since we got back late the night before. We are back up in the 90's for temps, so I think we'll be using the baby pool again this week. Looking forward to the weekend already :)
